Y'all! Am so happy to be back.. Am so ecstatic i even wore this jacket i have been hoarding for months
So who loves the new name, my mom loves it so much.. I think its better than the last one too.
So, welcome. I'm so glad am back, who missed me? I have so much to tell you all, but all in good time, all in good time.

The focus of today's post is this burgundy jacket my mom got for me from Ghana. I have had it for like ever, since mid last year but an occasion for me to wear it never came, or rather i just kept putting it off and finding other stuffs to wear always, it's not that i did not like the jacket, it was that i liked it too much, the occasion never seemed too be good enough, plus it's quite a handful so i wanted to wear it on a day that I'd be very comfortable and a day that a lot of people will see me lol. Can't waste a look such as this.. Ya know.

Anyway, the occasion finally arrived, last week was my birthday and after a heated Debate with myself about whether or not i am to buy something new and treat myself, i suddenly remembered this baby right here, so i thought, "finally, a worthy reason to wear you".

Any way, i hooked up with my friend and photographer @Ghaffarabiu on instagram to take photos of me and these pictures are the bomb! Like we had so much fun doing this shoot, as you can see from most of the pictures, i was smiling and laughing all through.

This jacket is seriously more comfortable than i imagined and I'll definitely be styling it more, i especially love the color, Burgundy has always been a color that i love but somehow never had enough of in my wardrobe, I'll definitely be warming up to more reds in the nearest future, the contrast with my skin tone is simply fabulous. And this piece turned out to be more comfortable than i imagined, its so soft and silk like and i was afraid that it was going to keep falling off, but i didn't have that problem at all, i felt really luxurious and boss like and i over all like the look and feel of it. I already have so many ideas on how else to style this so be on the look out. You'll be seeing this baby again real soon. More pictures...
